Read all about it: Celebrating Diane and Carolyn’s New Books
Not one but two members of Team TLC have just published books.
There’s something special about working alongside people who pour their hearts into helping others – and then go one step further by sharing their knowledge and experiences in print. We’re absolutely chuffed to bits to celebrate two of our very talented practitioners, Diane Wilkie and Carolyn Aitken, who have both recently published books that we think you’ll find fascinating.

Diane’s Journey: From ME to Me
Diane, our lovely holistic therapist who works with reiki, reflexology, and various massage treatments, has just published her deeply personal book, From ME to Me – A Journey of Healing, Reiki, and Rediscovering Myself.
What makes this book particularly moving is Diane’s honesty about her own 25-year journey with ME. She admits that fear kept her from sharing her story for two whole years after finishing the manuscript – we can all relate to that feeling of vulnerability when putting ourselves out there, can’t we?
But we’re so glad she did. Diane hasn’t just written about living with ME, she’s included all the practical tools that helped her along the way – affirmations, mantras, healing techniques, and journaling prompts. It’s the sort of book that feels like having a wise, compassionate friend by your side.
Diane’s book is available in paperback and on Kindle, and it’s free for three months on Kindle Unlimited if you’re already a subscriber.

Carolyn’s Research: Identifying risk factors for glaucoma.
Meanwhile, our certified iridologist Carolyn has been busy with something groundbreaking. She’s conducted fascinating research right here in Helensburgh, exploring whether patterns in the iris might help with earlier detection of glaucoma – you might recall us mentioning her work earlier in the year when she was recruiting participants for the study.
Carolyn’s brought together her 30 years in eye care with her expertise in iridology, working with local volunteers to see if there might be a simple, non-invasive way to spot glaucoma risk earlier. The results of her study are now published in her new book, “Iris Patterns and Glaucoma”, which is available here at the clinic.
And if you participated in Carolyn’s research, Carolyn will be in touch with you to offer you the book.

Both Diane and Carolyn embody what The Lomond Clinic is all about – a caring combination of professional expertise and compassion for helping people feel better. It makes us so happy to see two genuinely lovely and brilliant women take their knowledge beyond the treatment room and into published works that can help even more people.
If you’re interested in either book, pop in and have a chat with us. We’d love to tell you more about both Diane’s healing journey and Carolyn’s innovative research.
Sometimes, the best recommendations come from people who’ve walked the path themselves.
